How many people have $10,000 burning a hole in their pocket? That’s the kind of money you need to buy a decent car these days. Unless you plan on taking out a loan, saving up for a car can take months or years.

Why wait? Buy a motorcycle instead!

1. Affordable

Sure, there are motorcycles that meander into the 5 digit price range, and you can definitely take your pick of them. But if top-of-the-line or name brand isn’t on your list, you can <a style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline;"href="http://www.bikeads.com/ ">find motorcycles for sale for only a few thousand dollars or less. And they work! With fewer parts and simpler engines, motorcycles usually take less work and money for repairs too.

2. Fuel Efficiency

The initial cost for your motorcycle isn’t the only time your wallet will get a break. You’ll get one every time you fuel up. After only a few minutes and few dollars, your motorcycle will be ready for the open road again. The average motorcycle has a gas tank that only holds a few gallons, but don’t let that worry you. Most bikes also get around 100 miles to the gallon.

Even the best cars can’t compete with the fuel efficiency of most motorcycles. Who knows? This could be the first time in years that you look forward to that trip to the gas station.

3. Low Maintenance

Some people are lucky enough to know what goes on under the hood of a car. When their car has problems, they can fix it on their own. Most people aren’t so lucky. If their car makes the wrong sound, they run to the mechanic like a hypochondriac runs to the doctor.

Motorcycles have small, simple engines. It doesn’t take very long to know the ins and outs, and the names of every part. As you would expect, motorcycle repairs are very straightforward. With a little effort, you could learn how to do most of them on your own. And you wouldn’t have to be very engine savvy either.

4. Speed & Power

Big things can come in small packages. So don’t be fooled by the small engine on your motorcycle. It can offer you speed and power that you won’t find in a sedan or minivan.

If you’re a speed and power junky, you can buy a motorcycle that is a sport bike with large engine capacities. Or, with the help of an experienced motorcycle mechanic, you can make some simple modifications to your normal ride that will leave other riders and drivers choking on your dust.

5. High Adventure

There are some practical reasons to buy a motorcycle. But we all know the real reason: motorcycles are awesome! Who hasn’t looked on in envy or done a double take when a sweet ride goes down the road.

Riding a motorcycle is thrilling every time you do it. The open road flying by, just inches away from your face. Wind tearing at your clothes Boring commutes? Such a thing doesn’t exist when you ride on a roaring, iron horse.
<break>
<break>
People who understand why they should buy a motorcycle, obviously don’t need any convincing. They probably already own one or two. You may be a little slower on the draw, but it’s never too late to correct that. Find your motorcycle and find what you’ve been missing out on!

You look forward to the upcoming vacation season with a mixture of excitement and dread. Excitement for the time spent off work, for the new sites you’ll see, and the bonding you’ll do with family or close friends; dread for the stress and the disasters that are sure to crop up.

Keep the stress out of you vacation and learn how smart travel can help you have the perfect vacation with these five tips.

1. Plan Early

Every now and then a spur of the moment vacation can be a great way to travel. But, typically, to minimize the stress of vacation time, early planning is key.

Buy your tickets and plan your accommodations early so that you aren’t frantically looking for deals the day before. And don’t forget to get started on packing at least a few days before you leave. This will make it easier to remember everything you need, so that you don’t have a melt down later on.

2. Home Away From Home

Sure, you can go the usual route when it comes to vacation accommodations: an overpriced hole-in-the-wall that may or may not even provide you with breakfast. Or you can put your smart travel tips to good use and rent your very own vacation house.

Renting a vacation house is a particularly good idea if you are traveling with a large group. Everyone can pitch in on the cost and share the load. Not only will a vacation rental save you money but it can provide you with a much more luxurious stay.

Your vacation house will place you in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, with many of the necessities that you thought you could only find at home. You can find thousands of houses for rent at RentalAds.com.

3. Time

Wherever your destination, whether it is an hour by car or 10 hours by plane, smart travel means giving yourself plenty of time.

It’s so easy to try to push the envelope to get to your vacation spot as quickly as possible, but a bit longer layover or a few more pit stops can help you feel more refreshed and less stressed when you finally arrive at your destination.

4. Leave the Work

You need a break from work and “real life.” That’s why you are going on a vacation in the first place! Isn’t it?

The very un-vacation like truth is that about 25% of travelers are planning to work during their trip. Even if you aren’t planning to work, you have probably caught yourself checking work emails or phone calls while on a trip. Talk about a mood killer.

If it is at all possible, leave your work at home. It is important for you to have your own time to recharge and unwind away from all the stresses at home.

5. Pack Light

It can be hard to know exactly what you need for a trip, which can lead to a lot of unnecessary baggage. You don’t want to have to worry about or carry around all of this luggage on your vacation. Smart travel means packing light.

Check the weather reports and plan out what you want to do each day. That way you can be sure you have just the right amount of clothes and other items, while leaving plenty of the excess at home.

Do you want to be a millionaire? Many people do. They dream about mansions, expensive vacations; and of course, their own private jet.

The sad truth is that winning the lottery isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. One day someone is an average Joe, and the next morning they are a millionaire. The pressure and potential are just too much for some people. Stories of lottery winners going to jail, going bankrupt, and regretting that they every won are rampant.

What Goes Wrong?

Even after taxes take roughly 50% of the money, lottery winners are still left with a sizable amount. And what do they do with it? They buy everything they’ve always wanted and that’s where the problems start.

The most common purchases of lottery winners are multi-million dollar estates, private jets, and exotic cars. <a style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline;"href="http://money.cnn.com/2007/02/20/magazines/fortune/lottery_winnings.fortune/index.htm">Brad Duke, who won a $220 million jackpot in 2005, took a $63,000 trip to Tahiti with 17 friends. He also spent $65,000 on several new motorcycles.

When compared to the overall winnings, these one-time expenses don’t seem significant. But what most lottery winners forget is that purchases like mansions and private jets are ongoing expenses.

Another big mistake that lottery winners make is to quite their day job. This leaves them with more time to spend their new-found wealth. It also reveals the mentality that may be the biggest reasons why winning the lottery usually turns into a nightmare; rather than a dream come true. People just can’t seem to remember that money doesn’t last forever.

When you combine extravagant purchases, ongoing expenses, and the wrong mentality it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see why most lottery winners go broke within a few years. But not all of them do. In fact, Duke is an example of a successful lottery winner. So what did he do right?

How to Do It Right

Out of the $220 million that he won, Duke walked away with $85 million. Forty-five million of this he invested in safe, low-risk investments. He invested another $35 million in more aggressive investments like oil, gas, and real estate.

Although Duke did spend a significant amount of money on new motorcycles, cars, a vacation, and family gifts; his expenses were nothing compared to what most other lottery winners spend.

The difference between people like Brad Duke and people like David Edwards is simple.

Whereas Duke invested his money and didn’t go overboard on purchases, Edwards bought a multi-million dollar home, a private jet, dozens of exotic cars, and bundles of crack cocaine. He ended up going broke and living in a storage shed until he got kicked out.

Do You Still Want to Be a Millionaire?

Managing millions can be a challenge for anyone who’s never done it before. But successful lottery winners like Brad Duke show how it can be done.

You many never win the lottery, but in case you do, there is a lot to learn from those that have. First, remember that money doesn’t last unless you keep adding to it. So don’t quite your day job and invest most of the money. Second, don’t go overboard on fancy purchases. Sure you can still go buy a nice house or give some money away; but keep it reasonable and don’t forget that some expenses are ongoing.

Who knows? You could end up winning the lottery one of these days. If that happens, are you going to be a David Edwards, or a Brad Duke?

Can you believe that only 100 years ago people were still traveling by horse? How the times have changed! In the early 1900s, the first automobiles were invented. But most of these only topped out at 5-15 miles per hour. Trains were a fast way to travel, but you could only go where there was train track.

When the Wright brothers started experimenting with flight, people thought they had gone crazy. Who knew that only a few decades later, hundreds of people would travel from place to place by sitting on a chair in the sky?

Recently, travel took another giant leap forward with the advent of Gogo Inflight Internet and other forms of inflight Wi-Fi. Now for a small charge, you can text, Tweet, and Facebook your friends as your hurtle through the sky at 500 miles per hour.

Browsing in the Sky

Gogo Inflight Internet is quickly becoming the most preferred form of inflight Wi-Fi. It has actually been around since 1991 under the name Aircell. Back then, internet access was made possible via satellite transmission and it was only available on private aircrafts.

In 2008, Aircell successfully finished an uninterrupted network across all of the US. This network includes services like Air-To-Ground (ATG), ATG-4, and Ka-band satellite.

Now Gogo Inflight Internet is available on most popular airlines. It works on all AirTran Airways, Delta Air Lines, and Virgin American flights and on some Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, and Air Canada flights.

Unlimited access to Gogo Inflight Internet is $39.95 per month and is a great deal for frequent flyers. A 24-Hour Pass to Gogo’s service can be purchased for the more affordable price of $12.95.

Explore Your Options

Although it is a preferred method, Gogo Inflight Internet is not the only form of inflight Wi-Fi. Some airlines offer internet access on their flights via hotspots that have been installed on the airplanes. But just like inflight meals and headphones, the internet access isn’t free.

What may be the best deal for inflight Wi-Fi comes from <a style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline;"href="http://www.southwest.com/wifi/">Southwest Airlines. After climbing to 10,000 feet on a Southwest plane, you can launch your internet browser and connect for the special introductory rate of only $5.

Limited is Nothing!

Back in the day, staying entertained during travel involved counting cactuses out the train window. Now, thanks to services like Gogo Inflight Internet, you have unlimited access to videos, social media, and news on your laptop or smartphone as fly through the air.

If your inflight internet access is in any way limited by your smartphone software, you can always do an <a style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline;"href="http://www.iphonelox.com ">iPhone jailbreak and unlock access to more applications, music, and internet connections than ever before.

One hundred years ago, travel options were limited; in almost every sense of the word. But with daily advances in technology, limitations are a thing of the past.

<img src="http://www.generationjets.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/money.jpg" alt="" title="money" width="275" height="183" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-320"style="float:left;margin: 0px 30px 0px 0px" />The market for people buying a private jet has gone up dramatically in the past few years. With their popularity going up, I was left to wonder, how do people know what to look for when buying a private jet. If you are in the market to by a private jet, here are a few things to think about before buying.

Jet Age

Just like a car, certain jets made in certain year are known to have certain features and also certain problems. You are bound to get a lemon once in a while, but when every model made in a certain year have the same problem, that may not be the model that you want to buy. It is important to research private jets and their common problems in order to avoid buying a problem jet.

How to Buy

When you buy a jet, you can do all of the work and pay for it yourself, or you can use an aircraft broker (this is much like buying a house and using a broker for your loan). A broker can be very helpful – they know the market trend and can help you make good decisions when it comes to actually paying up. They will also save you from doing all of the paperwork yourself.

Understand the Real Cost

Just like everything else you buy, buying a jet requires ongoing payments and other costs. Make sure that you understand how much that could end up costing you. Expenses like gasoline, airport usage fees, repairs, and paying your pilot and hostess if that applies can really add up.

Know Airport Charter

You can’t just get in your plane and fly wherever and whenever you want like a lot of people probably think. Before buying a jet, be sure that you understand how that all works so you don’t cause problems or miss an appointment because you didn’t know how to plan a trip.

Chinese law prohibited any Chinese citizen from owning or flying private aircraft up until 2003. Before 2003, owning a private jet was only a dream to even the richest chine citizen. Now, owning a private jet is a reality for many people in China.

Since 2003 private jet sales have risen exponentially. The number of mainland registered private jets went from zero before 2003, up to over 130 in just a decade.

At this rate of growth, experts estimate that this number will skyrocket. They estimate the number of privately owned jets to grow nearly ten times in the next ten years. That means that the Chinese citizens will have to buy about 100 private jets per year to keep up with this estimation.

There are over 63,000 extremely wealthy citizens in China today. About 13% of them intend to purchase personal private jets. According to experts’ hypothesis, this is only the beginning.

Why Own A Jet?

One powerful businessman in China owns his private jet only for business purposes. It is not yet common for businesses to own private jet so this is “a way to demonstrate (his) business power” and to basically impress clients.

Owning a jet is definitely a way to impress a client because one flight costs a minimum of $10,000. What’s not impressive about that? Some clients can need to be in four different places in one day. This is impossible to accomplish with commercial flights which makes owning a private jet a necessity.

Problems and Future Plans

Some of the problems with owning a private jet in China are the high taxes, the lack of airspace (most of it is controlled by the military), and lack of infrastructure. Fortunately, the Chinese government has plans to make owning and flying a personal jet much easier by the year 2015. With the government making accommodations for jet owners, the estimated growth of jet sales doesn’t seem so extreme.

The Vision SF50 is a “mid-sized” jet made by Cirris Aircraft. This jet was made to fill in the gap between the small single prop airplane and the bigger Leerjet or Citation. This is the private jet that will allow customers to fly “faster, farther, higher, and carry a little bit more.”

The interior space of this mid-sized jet is unsurpassed. The Vision will board up to five adults and two children. The layout of this jet’s cabin is “designed to maximize space in a sanctuary of luxury and safety.”

There is space for two adults in the front, three in the middle, and two child seats in the back. Although there is room for five adults and two children, it is advised that you always check your weight and balance before loading and taking off.

This private jet’s target speed is about 345 miles an hour and can fly about 1100 statute miles with the reserve fuel.

This private jet costs about $1.7 million. That may seem like a lot of money, but when compared to other jets on the market, this is actually less expensive.

<img src="http://www.generationjets.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Vision-SF50.jpg" alt="" title="Vision SF50" width="276" height="183" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-303"style="float:left;margin: 0px 30px 0px 0px" />

Some Features

•	Dual WAAS GPS
•	Audio and phone inputs
•	3-axis digital A/P (pitch, roll, yaw YD with trim) with LVL
•	Cirris airframe parachute system
•	Reclining crew and passenger seats
•	Pilot “quick-don” emergency oxygen

This is not made to be considered the typical business jet. Chairman and co-owner of Cirris Aircraft compared this jet to “the family car that avoids congested highways but still gets you where you want to go.”

The worst part of a vacation is often getting to and from your destination. If you are flying there are multiple long lines to wait in, schedules to adjust to, small cramped seating, and baggage restrictions.

So, what’s the alternative if you want to avoid the lines and crowds of people on and off the plane? You can take a private jet. Only people in the movies take private jets, right? Wrong.

Why Jet?

You can set your own schedule. No more adjusting your sleep and vacation plans in order to fit your flight plans. When you schedule a private jet, you make your own itinerary. You get to decide when and where to get picked up and dropped off. (There are most likely some restrictions depending on where you want to go.)

There is chauffer service. Often, when a private jet is scheduled, a driver will even come to your house to pick you up and drop you off. There is no paying a huge parking fee to leave your car at the airport, or bothering your neighbors for a ride.

Comfort. With a private jet you get plenty of leg room. No smashing your knees against the seat in front of you. No elbowing, or being elbowed by the person next to you… there may not even be another person next to you if you choose to fly alone.

Your private jet will also some stocked with whatever you ask for. If you want extra pillows, certain foods, or a movie for your children to watch, it will be ready for you.

With all these perks, and more, why does anyone fly on a commercial aircraft? Unfortunately, price is the most common reason.

Flying through the air isn’t as much of an exciting adventure as it used to be. Rules and regulations caused by abuse of the system have not only delayed the process but made it much more frustrating for those wishing to simply enjoy what was once the thrill of a lifetime.

Fees, security measures and bland food choices make the time spent during air travel less than inviting. As such, corporate big wigs and celebrity superstars are boarding private jets for many reasons, including the greater food and relaxation options.

However, luxury is a privilege with a price. Not only do private jets often come equipped with multiple cabin areas, beds and luxury reclining seats, the meals and additional accommodations are often far above and beyond what you would be privilege to on an economy flight.

One of the best accommodations according to those who frequent the private jetting arena is the food. If you are taking a smaller private jet to a close location, you can enjoy a spread of cheese, crackers, cookies and other snacks that need little refrigeration.

However, if you are traveling out of the country or even overseas you will probably be using a larger jet, complete with full dining accommodations. You can hire a catering staff, which will satisfy your food fancy by serving up delicious, five-star meals, or keeping it on the simple side with soup and salad, its up to you.

If you don’t know where to go to find a good quality catering company you can seek the help of private jet owners, jet chartering companies or the airport itself may be able to offer suggestions.

Next time you want a luxurious vacation to remember, you may consider chartering a private jet, hiring a catering company and traveling in style and comfort.
